Jonthan and I and our neighbors decided back in March to play the dice game Farkle to 1,000,000 points. Each round goes to 10,000, so it was definitely a lofty goal. After 10 months of intense game playing the winner was............................ Jonathan with 1,004,450 points!
The saddest part of the whole game was the fact that I was in the lead for the first 600,000 points and ended up getting last place by 50 points! Andrea finished second and Greg got third (hence the sad face). We have been trying to decide which game to play next, let me know if you have any suggestions.

My brother is a big game nerd so he's always introducing us to new games. Our favorite over the Christmas break was Bohnanza. The box is yellow and it's all about beans. It's a fun one for a group of 4ish. You can play with up to 7 players, but it's more fun with a few less. Plus, you can keep track of your coins and try to reach a goal like you did with Farkle. Although I wouldn't recommend 1,000,000, that could take years! :)
Congrats to Jon! It was fun seeing you guys the other night, hopefully this was the grand occasion you headed to from there :)
